Privacy Policy
AOFON is a personal AI memory platform operated by iGlomart LLC (“AOFON”, “we”, “us”). Because memory is at the heart of what AOFON does, we take special care to be clear about what we store and why.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use AOFON at aofon.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using AOFON you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name and email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Conversations and content — the messages you send, files or images you attach, and code or other content AOFON generates for you.
- Memory — durable facts and context AOFON learns about you across conversations, so it can remember you over time. This is a core feature; you can view and delete it (see “Your rights and choices”).
- Projects — code projects you save, and their version history.
- Voice input — if you use voice, your audio is transcribed to text. Audio is processed to produce the transcript and is not retained as a permanent recording.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — such as message counts, your plan, and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Local storage — we store a sign-in token in your browser’s local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Credentials you provide for delivery/deployment
When you choose to push code to GitHub, deploy to Vercel or Coolify, or connect the AOFON Desktop helper, you provide access tokens for those services. These tokens are used only to carry out the action you requested, for that request, and are not stored on our servers. The Desktop helper runs on your own computer and only accesses the folder you choose.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service — answering you, remembering your context, generating and running code, and delivering files where you ask.
- To maintain your account, enforce plan limits, and process payments.
- To keep AOFON secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- To improve reliability and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party ads.
3. AI processing and service providers
To make AOFON work, some of your content is processed by trusted third-party providers acting on our behalf:
- AI model providers (such as OpenRouter and OpenAI) process your prompts and content to generate responses, embeddings for memory recall, transcriptions of voice input, and generated images.
- Stripe processes payments. Your full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by AOFON.
- Hosting/infrastructure providers host the service and store your data securely.
These providers may process data outside your country. We only share what is needed to provide the service, and we expect them to protect your data.
4. Data retention
We keep your account, conversations, memory and projects for as long as your account is active, so the service can remember your context. You can delete individual conversations, memory, or projects at any time, and you can delete your account, after which we remove or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law.
5. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. AOFON gives you direct tools to:
- view and delete your conversations and memory;
- export your data;
- delete your account.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including that we do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
6. Security
We protect your data with measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and isolation of sensitive systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any issue.
7. Children
AOFON is not intended for children under the age required by law in their country (generally 13, or 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date, and, for material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
